We want you to be fully satisfied with your Rakuten Kobo eReader; if you are not, you may return your hardware device within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Please note that digital eBooks and audiobooks are generally non-refundable once the download or streaming process has begun.
Initiate Your Request
Visit the 'My Orders' section of your Kobo account or contact our Customer Care team to start your return authorization process.
Prepare the Device
Perform a factory reset to remove your personal data and pack the eReader securely in its original packaging including all USB cables and manuals.
Affix the Shipping Label
Print the prepaid shipping label provided via email and attach it clearly to the outside of your return parcel.
Receive Your Refund
Once our warehouse inspects the returned device, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days.
